This well decorated, refurnished and homey apartment is on the mezzanine level of an elegant building in the Prati residential district which surrounds Vatican City. This area has large, tree lined streets with most of the buildings and homes dating from the late 1800’s and early 1900‘s.
The headquarters of the RAI TV (Italian Television) and the Civil Court are nearby which creates a very busy and bustling area during the day but a quiet one at night.
The apartment is tastefully furnished in a color scheme of white, gray, brown and black, and has an Internet WiFi connection. There are 2 bedrooms;
- one has both a double queen bed (160 cm) and a single bed and
- the second bedroom has 2 twin beds.
Each bedroom has a small writing and makeup table and a second small table with 2 basket armchairs providing a comfortable place to sit. Both rooms have a TV (the room with a double bed & a single bed has a wide screen TV) and both rooms have a fan for the warmer seasons. The larger bedroom has double glazed windows.
The kitchen and dining area is in a colorfully decorated area close to the main entrance of the apartment. It has a set of high stools at a counter for casual dining. The kitchen is fully furnished including a Nespresso and an American coffee machine, oven, refrigerator, kettle, toaster and an iron and ironing board.
The unit has one bathroom with a tub and hand-held shower, a hairdryer and a clothes washer.
The young, friendly owner speaks English and some French and will be happy to provide information about public transportation and suggestions about local dining.
He also has a small private garage for guest use for an additional fee of 12 euros per day.

There is an additional fee of 30 euros for the final cleaning.
Please, no pets and no smoking.

The Ottaviano station on Subway Line A is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. It goes to Piazza del Popolo in 2 stops, Piazza di Spagna in 3 stops and to the Stazione Termini (the main railroad station) in 6 stops where there is a direct train to Fiumicino Airport. At the other end of Line A is the Anagnina station where there is a bus connection to the Ciampino airport. There are bus lines into central, historic Rome just 200 mt (210 yds) from the building. The Prati neighborhood is filled with trattorias, bars, shops and restaurants among which are two of the most popular Roman restaurants; Siciliainbocca (specializing in Regional Sicilian cooking) and Settembrini, one of the emerging new restaurants in Rome. The latter is about 1 km. (one half mile) from the apartment and has been reviewed positively in the latest guide to restaurants in Rome. For those who like to take a cultural break and partake of some Italian drama (other than that on the streets) the "Teatro dell'Angelo" is a few meters from the flat and offers live performances of Italian theater from September to June.
