This sunny, recently remodeled and refurnished condominium apartment is located on the 6th floor of an elevator building; the 5th floor reached with the elevator and the last floor a walk up. It is in the zone of the Appian Way near the San Giovanni district of Rome and is easily reached from Ciampino Airport (Rome痴 smaller airport).  It is also only 200 meters away from the Ponte Lungo Metro Stop of Subway Line A. The accommodation is air conditioned and consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower and an hairdryer, as well as a living room with a sofa. There is also a small but well equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace for guest use.  There will be an extra charge of 5 Euros a day for the use of a/c. The Appian area is a very typical outlying district of Rome full of the country flavor of shops and fresh vegetable markets but is connected directly to the center of Rome via the Subway. The main Railroad Station (Termini) is only 5 stops away and the Spanish Steps 8 stops away. From the Spanish Steps some of Rome痴 most historic sights are all within easy walking distance including the Pza Navona, Pza. Venezia, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican. The hostess speaks good English. No smoking.
