This B&B, in a safe neighborhood very near the main railway station of Rome (Stazione Termini), is on the 5th floor of an elevator building.
- There are 2 guest rooms in this private home. They have recently been refurnished and repainted. The rooms have queen size beds (dividable) and an ensuite bathroom. Room nr 1 has a large window looking out onto an inner courtyard which makes the room light and quiet. The bathroom has a tub and hand shower. Room nr 2 looks out on Via Giolitti, a road which carries traffic for the station. The window in that room has a thick glass pane (not double glazed) which helps keep traffic noise to a minimum. The bathroom has a stall shower.
Both rooms have a small table with chairs where breakfast will be served by the courteous hostess who speaks English and French.- Air conditioning is available for an extra 5 Euros per day to be paid to the owner.
- Smoking is allowed only in the living room. A friendly cat lives in the B&B.
This district is currently experiencing a renaissance as various ethnic groups have added an international excitement by opening restaurants and shops representing all parts of the world. One of the most famous vegetable markets in Rome is in nearby Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. All this activity makes it a very lively area in which to get a feeling of everyday life in Rome. Being near the Central Railroad Station the area is well connected by public transportation (including both subway lines) to all sections of the city and to all the famous sights of Rome. There is also a direct, non-stop train between the station and Fiumicino airport which makes it easy getting into the city and to the apartment.From this B&B:
