This two rooms B&B, located in the center of historical Rome between the Vatican and the Spanish Steps, is situated on the 4th floor of an elevator apartment building right off Piazza Cavour. The guests rooms are very bright and light filled. The first one (red room) has a double bed and a private bathroom (with tub), and some antiques; the second one (blue room) has twin beds that can be joined together, lots of closet space and right outside the room a private bathroom with a stall shower. There is also a small common area outside the rooms which has a table where breakfast will be served. The hostess is a very gracious lady of French origin who also speaks Spanish and German. From this location it is an easy walk to the Vatican and by taking the bridge across the Tiber River it is also just a 15 minute walk to the famous Via Condotti shopping area of Rome and the adjacent Spanish steps. Many of Rome’s most historical sights are within walking distance from this point and other districts of Rome are also readily accessible from the Piazza di Spagna Subway station of Line A and many other area buses.
