This newly refurnished and redecorated three bedroom apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to Stazione Trastevere (the Trastevere Train Station) which has a direct connection to the airport. The unit (on the 2nd floor with elevator) can comfortably accommodate a party of 8 people. The entrance is into the main room which has been creatively decorated with reproductions of the famous Keith Haring drawings on the walls. The room contains a sofa, a large dining table, a TV with VCR capabilities and a spacious kitchen with a dishwasher and laundry machine. A loft at one end of this room provides an additional double bed if it is needed. However, the ladder to this loft is steep so the loft should not be used by children or older persons. There are three bedrooms; two have queen size beds and one is a children's room with a doll house for children to entertain themselves after a busy day of sightseeing in Rome. The children's room has two twin beds which can be joined together should 3 couples without children wish to share the unit. There are two bathrooms; one is quite large with 2 sinks and a bath tub and the second smaller one has a stall shower. All rooms are air conditioned which is available for an extra 8 Euros per day to be paid to the owner. There is also a safe to store valuables. The historic Trastevere district of Rome is full of shops and restaurants (trattorias). From the apartment it is an interesting 20 minute walk to the historic center of Rome or a 10 minute ride on the nearby tram number 8 to Largo Argentina which is in the historical center. From this point many of the main historical attractions of Rome such as Pza. Navona, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican are all within easy walking distance. Public transportation provides connection to all other sections of Rome. Any initial check in later than 11 pm will require an extra payment of 25 Euros (to be paid upon arrival).
